The Barndall Municipal Gallery is either a hidden gem or the most poorly advertised art space in the Los angeles. (Their website doesn’t even have any information on the upcoming exhibition) Never the less they often have really interesting exhibitions that for the most part focus on the work of Los Angeles produced art and artists. This next show Multiple Vantage Points looks amazing. As stated on the website for the Southern California Womens Caucus “Multiple Vantage Points complements MOCA's WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution, 1965-1980 and offers Los Angeles audiences an opportunity to explore connections between the dynamic women artists working in Southern California today and the early global history of feminist art.” Is the idea of a exhibition where the only connection between the artists is their gender flimsy? Who cares this line up is kicks ass!
